Pool Construction Tour

The next day, the rebar was formed into the pool. The following day, the plumbing was installed and then Nothing. Finally, two weeks later, the gunite was shot through hoses and formed the structure of the pool. The gunite is specially blended cement, which is semi-wet and is formed by hand to the walls of the pool. After it is set, it must cure for ten days. I had to go out and water it twice daily. Just before we left for Florida, the tile and coping was completed  the brick around the edge of the pool is called coping.
