Pool Construction Tour

By the beginning of March, things started to take shape. After weeks of rain and delay after delay, on one afternoon, I literally had to grab the subcontractor from his truck and walk him through the mud to prove to him that it would be dry by the next day so they could pour the cement. He agreed. If I hadn't done that, the next schedule opening would have been two weeks later. We had put up with these folks since mid October and it was time to get rid of them! Next came the plaster. It looked a lot like they were spreading icing over the cement. But it works. That day, after they had plastered all morning, we began to fill the pool. It was about 60 degrees that day but as you can see, Harrison is ready for a swim. Since it took another day to fill the pool, Harrison had to settle for a lounge chair.
