I do have to admit, spending a couple of days with the in-laws, on the surface, would not be considered as something fun. However, I was truly looking forward to spending some time with Eric, Dia, and Michelle as well as time with my own family. We flew in Thursday, the 13th and went straight to Eric's and Dia's. Friday was very much a day of relaxation. Eric decided to get us out of the house to give Dia a break on Saturday and took us on a whirlwind tour of the Western side of Connecticut. At the one stop I was permitted, I took pictures of a traditional covered wood bridge and the stream that flowed beneath. (Right) |
